BECOMING FULLY AWARE & AWAKE in our bodymind
Mindfulness and yoga have gone mainstream because they are simple and effective practices that re-connect us with ourselves and help us to cope with the symptoms of living life the way we do now. Mindfulness is the art of creating concentrated, non-judgemental, clear awareness; with good intention, in the present moment. It underpins all of the practices I work with.
Simple, but not easy.
Using contemplative practices (Meditation) we cultivate Mindfulness to gain clearer access to our inner mechanics and outer worlds. With practice it allows us to tune into our-full-selves, so that we have a more balanced and productive relationship with our minds, our self, our relationships and the environments we inhabit. We start to feel less swept away by a busy mind, auto-pilot speech, triggered behaviours and endless streams of preoccupying thought.
I teach the practices of Mindfulness based Meditation, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga.
I have worked with and been guided and supported by these teachers both on and off the mat: Michael Stone, Judith Lasater, Lizzie Lasater, Tanja Micwitz, Norman Blair, Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Joyce McMiken, Eunice Laurel, Anna Taylor, Amanda Wright … and many more.
Below are some of the ways we could work together in small groups, bigger groups or one-on-one. I will tune in to what you need and want, to create a program that works for you or your organisation:
A short session at the start of the day to get you into a clear space for all the day holds.
LUNCH TIME RE-CALIBRATE
Despite being the sleepy hour, it's a good time to stop and find your awake, so that the afternoon is a clean slate.
HALF-DAY YOGA AND MEDITATION WORKSHOP
Learn tools, spend time unwinding and rebalancing.
FULL-DAY URBAN RETREAT
A good length of time to really sink into your bodymind, get a handle on what's going on, find your breath, connect to your whole self, still the noise and find more clarity, lightness and space.
We can design a series of sessions or programme that fits with who you are and what's going on for you, on an individual or group level.

Meditation is not what you think.
Yoga is a state of mind.
